A JUDGE WHO LISTENS, BELIEVES IN JUSTICE As a Judge, I can appreciate that many people would prefer not to deal with the law, lawyers, or the courts.  However, should something happen which affects you, your family or friends, our legal system becomes immensely important. When it is your case, when it affects your life, your family and your livelihood, then competence and proven experience matters. You should be confident that the Judge hearing your case embodies the principles of honesty, fairness, integrity, respect, but most importantly listens to you. We have the right to our day in court and the right to be heard without fear or ridicule. A Judge must be unbiased, independent, and committed to applying the law fairly to the facts of each case.
