JUDGE ARDITTI’S BIOGRAPHY After being duly elected by the citizens of El Paso, Judge Regina Arditti was sworn in as the Judge of the 448th Judicial District Court in December of 2008.   Judge Arditti has practiced law for 24 years and has been a judge for 15 years in our community. She was born and raised in El Paso, Texas where she attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School, Loretto Academy, and then received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at El Paso. She graduated with a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech University, School of Law, in Lubbock, Texas. In 1988, she returned to El Paso where she served in various legal capacities as an Assistant County Attorney, Assistant District Felony Attorney for the 34th District of Texas with District Attorney Steve Simmons, and Assistant City Prosecutor for the City of El Paso. She was also employed as an Associate Attorney for a local law firm, an attorney at the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate General (OS JAG), U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Department of the Army, at Fort Bliss, Texas, and an Assistant County Public Defender. She also was an attorney in private practice for many years. Since 1996, her judicial experience includes: Associate Municipal Court Judge in El Paso, Presiding Municipal Court Judge in Clint, Judge for Municipal Court No. 4, Presiding Judge of the El Paso Municipal Courts, and Judge for the 448th Judicial District Court. Judge Arditti is bilingual, having the ability to speak with litigants fluently in both English and Spanish. She is the proud mother of four children, Anatasha, Dante, Mario, and Ariella. In both her personal life and professional career, she firmly believes in equality, justice, and most importantly fairness.
