VISIONARY ACCOMPLISHMENTS While serving you as Presiding Judge of the El Paso Municipal Courts, I implemented much needed programs and services for El Pasoans, such as the Community Service Program for Juveniles and Adults, Environmental Courts, Scofflaw Program, three Fulltime Night Associate Judges for 24-hour services and the Online Services for Payments, Court Forms, Court Dockets and Court Procedures in English and Spanish. As an Assistant County Public Defender, I assisted in establishing the Mental Health Unit. I am also a member of various civic organizations and professional bar associations. I have served on numerous community and legal boards, including the El Paso Bar Association, Central Business Association, the Border Fair Housing and Justice Center, Texas Municipal Courts Education Center, El Paso Mexican-American Bar Association, El Paso County Juvenile Administration and County of El Paso Bail Bonds Administration. I believe my experience and skills best serve our community as your Judge of the 448^th Judicial District Court.
